Pract-tic Spot On
Pract-tic Spot On for dogs comes in an easy-to-apply pre-filled pipette. Its active ingredient is "Pyriprole", which is a member of the phenylpyrazole family of broad-spectrum non-systemic insecticides / acaracides. These act by blocking the GABBA receptors to kill the target parasite on contact.

Please Note: This product is not suitable for the treatment of other animals species as it may cause toxicity which could prove fatal.
This product can be used on puppies over 8 weeks old, or weighing over 2kg, and on all sizes of adult dogs. It is available in four sizes to suit dogs and puppies of different body weights (2-4.5kg, 4.5-11kg, 11-22kg, 22-50kg and 50kg and over).
Pract-tic Spot On kills ticks within 48 hours and fleas within 24 hours. One treatment remains effective for up to 4 weeks. Re-treatment should be monthly. This product can also reduce the incidence of flea-allergy dermatitis.
Dogs should not be bathed or shampooed from 48 hours before treatment. Bathing or shampooing within 24 hours after treatment may reduce the efficacy of the product. Weekly bathing in water does not affect the efficacy against fleas and ticks.
The active ingredient of Pract-tic Spot On is harmful to aquatic organisms.
Although Pract-tic appears not to result in any toxicity in cats, it isn't currently licensed for their treatment.
